The Shoalhaven River Festival is an annual two day event held each October in Nowra. It is action packed with activities to celebrate life in Shoalhaven.
The weekend starts off with a parade, which leaves from Nowra Showground and progresses down Junction Street in the CBD. The parade is a great way to showcase local community groups and businesses.
Despite very heavy rain earlier in the morning, the parade started at 11am with just a light shower. The streets were lined with people, and Living Care staff and volunteers handed out bags, lollies and balloons, while Dawn (pictured below) waved from the bus.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the parade!
